Nazia Iqbal is one of the most famous pashto singer. She has registered a complaint in Rawat Police station Rawalpindi against her own brother for raping her two daughters aged 12 years and 8 years. She told SHO (Station House Officer) that she lives in Bahria Town Rawalpindi and had busy schedule of concerts and her husband was also not at home so she called her brother to come to her house and take care of her daughters. She claimed that then next day she saw her daughters crying and was complaining of raping. Her brother escaped before they can capture him but the police station claimed that suspect has been arrested and investigation is in progress. Also they have sent medical samples to prove if rape took place or just false allegations.
We know that in the last few months many cases come to front and on media in which little girls are raped and most of them are killed also. One of those cases was Zainab’s case of Kasoor. She was only seven or eight years old and she was raped tortured and then killed. Her dead body was recovered from dust bin apparently. So parents are requested to carefully watch the surroundings of their kids specially girls and take care of them themselves. Don’t trust others too much.
